Welcome to Bayside Academy

I am delighted to welcome you to our school website. Through our website we aim to give you a flavour of our school, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils. I am privileged to be Headteacher of Bayside Academy and I am extremely proud of our school and its many achievements.

We are situated within, and surrounded by, a beautiful natural environment. There are beaches, marshlands, paths, stunning views and access to a train station all within walking distance of the school.

At Bayside, we are passionate about learning and strive to instil in our young people a love and excitement for learning that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. This is shown through our mantra 'High Expectations lead to High Achievers'.

We have a fantastic staff team with a strong commitment to high quality teaching and learning. We believe in the development of the ‘whole child’ as an individual, who will leave our school with the skills and qualities needed to become a responsible global citizen in an ever changing world.

We ensure that every child receives the best opportunities so that they can to do well and succeed. Children at our school feel safe and secure and know that they are part of a supportive ‘family’ community.

Thank you very much for your interest in our school and we very much hope you enjoy exploring our website.
